Laundry Room
New House's laundry room is equipped with 10 washers and 10 dryers. The washers were just replaced in the summer of 2007. Each washer load and dryer load costs $1.00. You can pay either with quarters or by TechCash using the card reader machines. Since our washers are industrial duty machines, they require significantly less detergent so make sure you don't overload the machines. Too much detergent results in soapy and incomplete washes.
Bike Closet
Located in the connecting tunnel between New House and Macgregor, the bike room features ample space for students to lock up their bicycles - especially useful for long-term storage. The combination to the bike room is 2-4-5-3.
Weight Room
The New House weight room, located in House 2, has a variety of different weights and machines. You need your MIT ID card to get access into the weight room.
Athena Cluster
Located on the first floor of House 3, the athena cluster in New House is home to 8 Athena computers and one printer. The combination to the athena cluster is 1-3-5.

Study Lounge
Located on the first floor of House 4, the study lounge is designed to serve as a quiet place for residents to study and do homework. Loud disruptions are discouraged.
Games Room
Located on the first floor of House 5, the games room in New House has a pool table, a ping-pong table, and a foosball table. (Please do not go up to the 2nd floor of House 5 and use their stuff without permission from residents.) This lounge is also home to one of New House's printer getitfaster.
Music Room
Located on the first floor of House 6, the music room in New House has two pianos and several music stands for the dorm's residents to share.
All-Purpose Lounge
Located on the first floor of House 6, the all-purpose lounge in New House is open for reservations (see Room Reservations page) for dorm events. The lounge is also home to a very nice tv.
